How this budget model works

The model adds base design hours, hours for each additional page and the hours you assign to optional work. It multiplies the total by your low and high hourly rates. The starting values are illustrative inputs created for this calculator. They are not measured agency rates or promised delivery times. Change them to match your own scoping assumptions or a supplier’s written estimate.

Use the result to improve your brief

A range is useful when it makes uncertainty visible. Compare whether content, booking, ecommerce and integrations have been included in each quote. This calculator excludes hosting, domain renewals, subscriptions, photography, advertising and tax. It cannot assess the complexity of a custom integration or migrate your existing content.
