Avoid automatic winners
A platform name does not establish performance, ownership or search visibility. A template can be useful and a custom implementation can still be poorly maintained. Ask for evidence from the actual proposed website rather than a generic demo. Check transfer and support arrangements in writing. If an answer is missing, mark it unknown until it is clarified instead of treating the uncertainty as an advantage.
